Of those: lower-income households, women, adults under 30, Black and Hispanic adults and those without a college education are the demographic groups most impacted. Within those groups, each expressed difficulty paying bills, had problems paying rent or mortgages, and couldn’t cover medical expenses and lost their health insurance.
