Today AWF celebrates the good news that Sen. Kyrsten Sinema will support a scaled back version of the Biden Administration's Build Back Better plan, now called the Inflation Reduction Act. Though it is not all that we wanted, it is a step in the right direction.
We want to thank YOU and all who joined our efforts to lobby for Build Back Better including all those people who contacted their legislators, including Sinema and Sen. Joe Manchin. AWF is proud of the television and digital ads we launched, the social media and educational material we pushed out to the grassroots, and we are excited that our efforts have made a contribution towards improving our economy and the lives of our nation's working people and their families. Now, our efforts remain ongoing! We cannot ever stop fighting for America's working families.
